| ISC is lead by John Taylor; prior to becoming Managing Director. He previously spent 28 years as an Officer in the Merchant Services, 18 years as Chief Engineer and for 8 years John held the position of Lieutenant Commander RD RNR, Merchant Naval Liaison Officer for the Royal Navy, which involved direct liaison with UK MOD on Security and Marine Interdiction Squads. |

| John's extensive maritime history extends to 25 years involvement with the Royal Navy as a Reservist, which involved Naval Control of Shipping and Amphibious Warfare and Security. |

| He is a qualified lecturer on International Ship and Port Facility Code (ISPS). Approved by UK Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) to lecture and approve Ship Security Officers and Company Security Officers; approved by the UK Department of Transport (TRANSEC) to lecture and approve Port Facility Security Officers. John is also a qualified Company Security Officer, Ship’s Security Officer and Port Facility Security Officer. |

| John held the position of Liaison Officer to the UK Special Forces for 11 years and was also involved in advising and lecturing the MOD and NATO on World Merchant Matters. |
